Sustainability Victoria (SV) has consolidated the FirstRate5 Website End User Terms of Service (End User Terms of Service) and FirstRate5 Software Licence Agreement (Software Licence Agreement) into a single software licence agreement.
The title of the new single agreement is FirstRate5 House Energy Rating Software License Agreement (License Agreement) and it will govern the use of the FirstRate5 desktop application, the FirstRate5 website and FirstRate5 Whole-of-Home.
SV has undertaken this update to:
- Incorporate reference to the FirstRate5 Whole of Home tool and updated certificates.
- Remove duplication between the previous agreements.
- Include 2022 NatHERS Software Accreditation requirements.
The new License Agreement is effective 1 May 2024.
If you do not agree with the new License Agreement, you can choose to discontinue using the FirstRate5 software, website and FirstRate5 Whole-of-Home and advise SV that you intend to terminate your licence by sending an email to [email protected].
To keep the FirstRate5 desktop application in line with these changes, SV will be releasing an updated software package shortly. This new version will include the new License Agreement and updated User Acknowledgments checkboxes. SV will email users when this version is available for download.
