Sustainability Victoria (SV) has updated the FirstRate5 Website End User Terms of Service and the FirstRate5 Software Licence Agreement, which apply to the FirstRate5 desktop application, the FirstRate5 website and FirstRate5 Whole-of-Home. Sustainability Victoria will delete all whole of home assessment that have been created using FirstRate5 Whole-of-Home (v1.0.0) unless we receive a request from the user to retain the data. Sustainability Victoria plans to release an updated version of FirstRate5 Whole-of-Home by mid to late March 2024. This new version will be able to be used to generate NatHERS Whole of Homes Certificates for regulatory purposes.

Sustainability Victoria (SV) is pleased to announce that FirstRate5 Whole of Home (v1.0.0) (FR5 WoH (v1.0.0)) has successfully passed the NatHERS accreditation process and is now available to all FirstRate5 users. SV has released this beta version to assist assessors with familiarising themselves with completing Whole of Home assessments before the NCC 2022 transitions periods come to an end in 2024.

FirstRate5 v5.5.4 (3.22) is now available as a free download from www.fr5.com.au. Sustainability Victoria (SV) recommends that all users upgrade to this version. FR5 v5.5.4 (3.22) contains the following two bugs fixes and enhancements. An updated thermal bridging training video is now available and the software user manual has been updated. The FirstRate5 helpdesk will be closed from Friday 22 December 2023 (12pm AEDT) and will re-open on Monday 8 January 2024 (9am AEDT).

Sustainability Victoria is pleased to announce that FirstRate5 Whole-of-Home (v1.0.0) has achieved NatHERS Whole of Home accreditation. This means that the tool has meet the accuracy requirements set by the NatHERS Administrator and can generate a valid Whole of Home performance rating.

Sustainability Victoria has made a further update to the FirstRate5 End User Terms of Service published yesterday. The new update is in addition to those changes published on 9 November 2023. The updated End User Terms of Service and the updated Software Licence Agreement apply to: new users of the FirstRate5 website and software, effective 9 November 2023; and existing users of the FirstRate5 website and software, effective 16 November 2023.
